Tascheleia is a professional artist in many respects.
She is a painter, a calligrapher, a poet, a dancer; a true maiden of the Renaissance.
Her penmanship is incredible and her study of Calligraphy began at a very early age:
As a young lady of 7, learning handwriting for the first time in grade 2 her school teacher commented one day on how atrocious Tascheleia's handwriting was. Sometimes her letters slanted left, sometimes her letters slanted right, sometimes not at all and sometimes her teacher was not sure if they were letters at all. So Tascheleia's teacher recommenced some extra practice at home and gave to her sheets and sheets of letters including many calligraphy styles for Tascheleia to practice. There through the intimate study of letters and their form did Tascheleia discover a love for Calligraphy. It continued to be an interest for her throughout her life and Tascheleia seized every opportunity to learn more...and still does!
